Peitz's Coins LLC was established in September of 2020 to provide collectors locally and afar a fair and helpful hand in the collecting business. We strive to provide world class customer service and to make sure every customer is satisfied with their purchase. I was born and raised in West Des Moines and started collecting coins at the age of 8 when I was gifted my father's childhood collection. I can still remember the thrill of the very first purchase I made with my own money, a 1929-S Standing Liberty Quarter (G), a 1982 Proof Set and an Edmunds Price Guide from the old Ben Marlene Coin Shop in the Masonic Temple downtown. I have been hooked ever since and wish to bring the same kind of thrill for the hobby to others that I had that day and have had with every new coin that comes my way.
